| [en] The aim of the master thesis "Le Luxembourg aux origines de l'OTAN (1948-1953)" is twofold. On the basis of a theoretical model studying the behaviour of Luxembourg as a small state in multilateral organisations, the thesis intends to analyse the Grand-Duchy's strategy in the negotiations leading to the creation of NATO and its first years of existence. In the second part, the research focusses on how the country's membership in the Transatlantic Alliance impacted its domestic policy. | |
