Theoretischer Hintergrund: Studierende haben viele Freiheiten in der Gestaltung ihres Alltags, fühlen sich aber oft auch gestresst und hin- und hergerissen zwischen Handlungsmöglichkeiten (Grund et al., 2014). Solche intrapsychischen Konflikte werden häufig als ursächlich für psychisches Wohlbefinden betrachtet (Gorges & Grund, 2017). Achtsamkeit beinhaltet die Lenkung der Aufmerksamkeit auf das unmittelbare Erleben und eine offene und nicht wertende Haltung gegenüber diesen mentalen Erfahrungen. Sie steht in einem positiven Zusammenhang mit Wohlbefinden und intrapsychischen Kongruenz und könnte daher hilfreich für eine gelungene Selbstregulation sein (Brown & Ryan, 2003; Carlson, 2013). Fragestellung: Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die Beziehung zwischen Achtsamkeit, motivationalen Konflikten und wahrgenommenem Stress im Alltag von Universitätsstudenten zu untersuchen und dabei auch Hinweise für mögliche Wirkmechanismen zu sammeln. Methode: Im Rahmen einer einwöchigen smartphone-gestützten Experience-Sampling-Studie wurden 107 Universitätsstudenten fünfmal täglich zu ihrer momentanen Achtsamkeit (in den Facetten Mit Aufmerksamkeit handeln und Akzeptieren ohne Bewertung) und ihrem motivationalen Konflikterleben (in den Facetten Wollen-Konflikte und Sollen-Konflikte) befragt. Zusätzlich wurde jeden Abend ihr Stresserleben erhoben. Die Beziehung zwischen täglicher Achtsamkeit, motivationalen Konflikten und wahrgenommenem Stress wurde auf Tagesebene mit Mehrebenenanalysen analysiert. Ergebnisse und Diskussion: Sowohl alltägliche Wollen-Konflikte als auch Sollen-Konflikte waren ein Prädiktor für abendliches Stresserleben. Je intensiver der Eindruck über den Tag, etwas anderes tun zu wollen und zu sollen, umso mehr abendlichen Stress berichteten die Studierenden. Diese Effekte blieben auch bestehen, wenn das Stresslevel vom Vortag kontrolliert wurde. Dieser Befund stärkt die Interpretation, dass intrapsychische motivationale Konflikte tatsächlich abträglich für das Wohlbefinden sind und nicht nur ein Begleitumstand. Wurden beide Achtsamkeitsfacetten zusätzlich in das Regressionsmodell aufgenommen, verloren beide Konfliktvariablen ihre Vorhersagekraft; stattdessen zeigte sich ein direkter Effekt für Achtsamkeit in der Ausprägung Akzeptieren ohne Bewertung. Die Ergebnisse unterstreichen die Relevanz motivationaler Konflikte und Achtsamkeit für das Stressempfinden in akademischen Kontexten. Neben machtpolitischen Argumenten wie der Bedrohung durch die NATO wird die historische Vergangenheit der Ukraine und Russlands instrumentalisiert, um Putins politisches Handeln zu rechtfertigen. This policy paper is based on the findings of the H2020 project CONDISOBS, which was conducted by Lorenzo Vianelli at the University of Luxembourg, thanks to funding received from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 838722. CONDISOBS explored the governance of the mobility of asylum seekers in the European Union through a multi-sited qualitative study based on in-depth semi-structured interviews with state officials, representatives of international organisations and non-governmental organisations, lawyers, members of advocacy groups, social workers and activists. Interview material was integrated by an extensive review of academic literature, policy documents and institutional and non-governmental reports. Data was collected between October 2020 and June 2021. This policy paper is part of a series on the hotspot approach, which also includes a policy paper on the implementation of the approach in Greece and another one on its implementation in Italy. Le développement attendu passera par une approche systémique de l’engagement tant sur des aspects micro (de la relation de soin) méso (dans la coordination des structures de soins) et macro (avec l’engagement des politiques de santé). Le développement doit s’appuyer sur les initiatives existantes : en ce sens le projet Interreg est une belle façon de promouvoir les échanges de bonnes pratiques au service de cet engagement du patient. Seit den Modernisierungsschüben des 19. Jahrhunderts, die mit der Entfestigung der Städte und der Implementierung einer zeitgemässen Infrastruktur begann, hat der Rhythmus der Obsoleszenz zugenommen. Mit Anders nutzen wollen wir den Phänomenen nachgehen, die mehr sind als das durch frühere Obsoleszenzen ausgelöste Umnutzen. [less ▲]

Seit 2016 ist Andreas Fickers Direktor des Luxemburg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) an dessen Konzeption, Aufbau und Organisation er maßgeblich beteiligt war. Das C2DH hat in den wenigen Jahren seiner Existenz eine ungeheure Strahlkraft weit über den europäischen Raum hinaus erreicht und gilt hinsichtlich seiner Forschungsleistung und -kompetenz im Bereich der Digital- und der Public History als sogenannte Leuchtturm-Institution. Sowohl die Arbeit des Direktors, als auch die Forschungsleistung des gesamten Instituts werden alle fünf Jahre von einer international besetzten Fachkommission evaluiert. Im September diesen Jahres wurde der Vertrag Andreas Fickers um weitere fünf Jahre verlängert [less ▲]

Art is affected by this as well, because the computer-assisted and AI-supported implementation of creative ideas and thoughts and experimentation with new things have led to innovative results. Die Präsentation fasst Lerneffekte zusammen, die aus Governance-Prozessen im Flussgebiet der Syr im Zeitraum 2012-2019 hervorgegangen sind. Sie zeigt, welche Faktoren dazu beitragen können, dass Akteure in Wasserwirtschaft, Umweltschutz und Landwirtschaft zusammenarbeiten und gemeinsames Handlungswissen schaffen, um den Zustand von Flüssen und Bächen trotz zahlreicher Hürden zu verbessern. The speech is a statement and part of the International Symposium "The Future of Living", supported by EUNIC - EU National Institutes of Culture. The event was under the patronage of the Slovenian Presidency of the European Parliament. In the lecture, I briefly presented some selected ideas, observations, and examples on the symposium topic as well as my view of a future living together. [less ▲]

The vulnerability of applicants for international protection is a key component of the EU acquis on asylum, with both the Recast Asylum Procedures Directive (2013/32/EU) and the Recast Reception Conditions Directive (2013/33/EU) providing special provisions for vulnerable persons with regard to the procedure for international protection (i.e. special procedural guarantees) and reception (i.e. special reception needs), respectively. Hence, in order for Member States to be able to provide and guarantee these special provisions for vulnerable applicants, it is essential that a potential vulnerability is detected and identified at an early stage in the international protection procedure. It is in this context that EMN Luxembourg decided, in consultation with the Luxembourgish authorities and national stakeholders, to launch a request for information to Member States via the EMN ad-hoc query system. As a consequence, the aim of this Inform is to map how vulnerabilities of applicants for international protection are detected in the international protection procedure in EU Member States and how the follow-up of this detection is guaranteed by the authorities and stakeholders involved, including special procedural guarantees.
