Abstract :
[en] This paper aims to take stock of the Union's action to strengthen its social dimension with a focus on its impact on European economic governance. It provides a legal and political assessment of the European Pillar of Social Rights and examines the main achievements and/or shortcomings as regards its implementation. The Pillar's foundational role to reinforce socioeconomic governance in the EU and the challenges ahead are finally addressed.
