Abstract :
[en] In Luxemburg, 44.4% of employees lives across the border and comes from the three neighboring coun-tries. Cross-border work has historic roots. It is a lasting, growing phenomenon, anchored in local econo-mies. This contribution underlines the importance of contextual conditions under which these flows have in-creased. It presents the main characteristics and challenges of cross-border work in Luxembourg, in order to compare with Switzerland.
