Abstract :
[en] This book chapter deals with human trafficking in the 21st century around the world. It gives first a definition, global and European perspectives, before explaining case studies of Romanian women in Italian agriculture and victims of human trafficking in Sweden. The book chapter shows clearly that slavery and human trafficking are not only historical, but also recent phenomena.
