Abstract :
[en] The majority of work in judgment aggregation is devoted to the study of impossibility results. However the (social) dependencies that may exist between the voters has received less attention. In this extended abstract we use the degree centrality measure from social network analysis and obtain a correspondence between the average voter rule and this measure, and show that approach can lead to more resolute outcomes in the voting process.
