Irland und Litauen – die „Armenhäuser“ Europas auf dem Weg nach oben

Ireland and Lithuania have one thing in common: they both lie on the periphery of Europe: Ireland on the west and Lithuania on the east. Despite their geographical distance and different histories, both countries have something comparable. In this contribution, the developments of the two states will be presented first and then commonalities and differences will be worked out.
